The Borromean Islands

Where magic meets beauty… unbelievable emotions!

Discover the magnificent Borromean Islands!
Majestic palaces, enchanting gardens, small fishing villages and... breath-taking views!

Excursion to the Borromean Islands of Lake Maggiore by private motorboat (shared with other people), departure from Stresa.

The excursion will start with Isola Madre (Mother Island). Its particular botanical garden is famous for the blossoming of camellias, rhododendrons, azaleas, as well as wisterias.

Then stop at the most suggestive of the Borromean Islands: Isola Superiore dei Pescatori (Fishermen Island), that owes its name to the occupation of its inhabitants. After a walk through its narrow alleys and maybe an aperitif on the lakefront proceed to Isola Bella.
